     On October 3, 1993 American Soldiers found themselves locked in a fierce battle against a whole city in Somalia. This side of the website is to shed light on the American Point of View. It will explain the primary mission, what went wrong, the weapons that were used, and the events that led up to the fight. This was all part of a larger picture known as Operation Restore Hope.
