What was your rank in the US Army?

Grandpa: Ha-ha that’s very funny because I work in judge advocate at that time I was a typist I was a PFC that’s the lowest rank and I was PFC so the Colonel how long I been in service I said I forgot already what it told to Colonel and they said from now on your to be Corporal so his wife brought corporal stripe two stripe and then I went to eat and that was noon time lunch time because I put my stripe the Master Sergeant ask me why I did wear stripe since I got no order yet so I say kernel gave it to me promoted me and they told me to wear it. So O you are just lying so first sergeant come in and took off stripe. When I finish eating I went back to office Colonel said wears your strip then I said ser said why you wear stripe. Put back that strip kernel said why did they remove they didn’t see special order. You didn’t give me special order. No Can you see this eagle on my hat that’s colonel and any thing I say you got to believe so again after 3 months I become sergeant an well I put ser and they didn’t say noting and after 3 months I become staff sergeant that a rapid promotion very happy until I receive technical sergeant 5 stripes o I was so proud.
