What happened on the Bataan Death March?

Grandpa: The Bataan death march was so cruel, the Japanese army was so cruel at that time and we surrender on April 1942. How they treated us during that death march they are so cruel by the time a person get weak or pass out so they have to lay it flat in the ground they just stab it with their bayonets and kick the guy in the roadside and half of the group, just half were left because we walk under the heat of the sun it was so hot and they are many guys that were passed out.
