| Because of the proposed Fiscal Year 2006 budget Upward Bound will cease to exist, but only if there is no action taken. We would like you to view what Upward Bound is from the students' eyes, and hopefully you can pass it on to the President which obviously does not have any sympathy towards our futures. The program is the key to many individuals' successes for the future. We hope you take into consideration of how many people will not be able to get an education to go above and beyond, and most importantly, how many will not get the chance to realize their future potential because of the FY 2006 Budget. It may be only over 180 students at CSUC Upward Bound but there are also over 68,000 students nationwide. | |
