 | Hi! First, I would like to welcome you all to our webpage. My name is Nghi, I have been at Upward Bound/ETS for a year; although, it is not a long time, but I have a wonderful time here. Thus, I am going to be a senior at David Douglas High School next fall - very excited! For that reason, I always try to make this last highschool year a remarkable year. Together, Crystal - my group partner and me came up with the idea of creating a helpful website, which dedicates for active students (that's you!), who like to reach out to their community. Getting involved means participation, yet, it also means you will have a lot of fun, too. Therefore, I hope you will find "Getting Involved" as a useful website for you. |
 | Hello there! My name is Crystal and I'm an incoming freshman at Hill Hi in Hillsboro, OR. This is my first year being involved in the Upward Bound summer program at PSU. the classes are all a bit difficult, but they are interesting and can be really fun, too. this project was especially time consuming, but well worth it. I learned a lot of new things, (that i'll no doubt forget before too long) about both how to put together a site and about our topic. My partner in designing and creating this site is Nghi as you've probably already read. We had just met this summer in the web design class and we really didn't really know anyone else in class so we decided to be in a group, and its been fun getting to know each other more while working on this project. In my spare time and even when I'm supposed to be busy, my favorite thing to do is read.
