they may be
forced to become criminals or join gang members just to feel wanted or
to survive. It is also likely that the road to sex industries will increase
due to strong temptations make money in order to live.
It’s not that Africa doesn’t know about this concern; there
are ways in which small organizations and community groups are helping
out the children with AIDS. Organizations in Africa are continuously trying
to find support for the orphans who have AIDS. Most importantly, the elders
and grandmothers are reaching out to guide the young orphans throughout
Africa.
In order to cease transmission from mother and child, advertisements and
campaigns are strongly needed. Education must continue to grow, providing
the young ones with knowledge. Most of all, pregnant African women must
be provided with health care and antiretroviral drugs.
It is said that in 2010, 20 million orphans will be living with AIDS.
So the impacts of the community will play a major role in the outcome
of the children. Every child will reflect the society of the African country,
culture, and future. There are choices that can be made, whether it becomes
good or bad, the 20 million children will be the next generation for the
country.
What would be better, 20 million educated and healthy lives? Or 20 million
of dying people? (Africa News Service, pg1008103u5330).
