About Us

This web site was created as a main focus of our summer web design class. We learned how to use Macromedia Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and Flash. It was a great experience making this site and working with each other, and our goal is that this site has turned out fun, interesting, and informative for you. These are the members of our team:

I'm James. This site was something I have been wanting to work on for a while. At high school, I was a part of the SYST&MS project, which dealt with system dynamics. This is where I introduced and learned about system dynamics. I have taken two years of courses in system dynamics and have spent another two years working on my skills. This site was a chance for myself to give back to the system dynamics community along with the help of my team mates.

Hi! My name is Libni. I was born in Guatemala, and I moved to the U.S. when I was 11 years old. I am going to be a sophomore at Benson High School in the fall. I joined Upward Bound at Portland State in the winter of 2002. I enjoyed this summer web class because we learned how to work with some new programs and I learned a lot about systems working on this site.

My name is Jasmine, and I will be a junior in the fall at Benson High School. I became interested in System Dynamics in the seventh grade, through a class on Stella with the TAG program. Since then, I have worked some with Stella, and we have done research on system dynamics all summer. I am in Upward Bound going into my third year here at Portland State University.

We would like to thank our coaches and teachers here at Portland State Upward Bound for all the boundless knowledge and helpful tips they have poured into us this summer. Thanks for helping us and being there as a resource. You guys made this site possible, really, thank you.
