Women and Smoking

Health consequences have greatly increased during the past fifty years for women who smoke. Because of all the smoke related deaths, smoking is now the leading cause of preventable death and disease in women.

It's estimated that women have about 20 times higher risk of dying from cancer if they smoke. The leading cause of cancer death among women is lung cancer. It is estimated about 68,000 people will die of lung cancer.  Smoking during pregnancy can cause babies to have low birth weights. Children of mothers who smoked during pregnancy have problems as they become older such as, anxiety, conflict with other people and disobedience.

Not to mention, for pure vanity reasons smoking makes people age faster than those that do not smoke.  Women try to hide behind the facade that smoking is sexy and...........

  Skin wrinkling

Wrinkles were never sexy!
