Every year, the average child
views about 10,000 food advertisements on television.
This influences youth greatly, according to recent statistics.
Children are now becoming overweight, and will most likely grow into
unhealthy, overweight adults.

About 98% of the advertisements are for junk foods. ~ Of the overweight children between the ages 5-10, 60% of them have at a minimum of one risk factor for heart disease. ~ Statistics have shown that about 14% of children are dangerously overweight.
