Learn and practice preventative measures!!!

~ Practice safe sex/ abstinence

~ Do not share syringes, razors, or toothbrushes (anything with the ability to obtain or transfer blood)

~ Protect yourself: make sure doctors and dentists wear latex gloves

~ Learn the sexual past of your partner

~ Use protection

~ Avoid sharing needles

~ If you have more than one sexual partner, be sure to get regular HIV tests.
