Iqbal was
another version of Martin Luther King. He was sold when he was
4 years old for only $12. He did not, however, let other people
control his life and his dream to have freedom. As a result, when
he was 10, he escaped and started fighting for Pakistani children's
rights and fought to eliminate child slavery. He didn't live long
enough however, to complete his dream. Ironicaly, his life was
ended because of the limelight he was in and due to his strong
will to fight against child slavery. His dream lives on in the
people he spoke to, such as the children at Broadmeadow Middle
School. Others will continue to participate in his movement and
continue to fight for Iqbal's dream.
