Temporal Arteritic Headache:

Temporal Arteritic are one of the less common headaches. According to G. Brent Lucas, BA this type of headache tends to affect people over the age of 55. The pain, which is described as burning and throbbing, can be anywhere on the head.
However, mostly the pain is more severely around the temples. Other symptoms include: eyesight problems, weight loss, jaw pain when chewing, and a mild fever. In addition, this type of headache is caused by inflammation of the arteries, which supply your head with blood.
