Hindu Angels
|
The Hindu religion refers to their angels as divine beings instead.
They believe in many more spiritual beings such as demigods and
spirits. The distinction that the Hinduism religion has with the
Christiam religion is that the Hindus do not believe in complete
evil spirits. They signify gods as being most important. So in a
way, they refer to gods as in association with their angelic mythology.
Their angels are looked upon as gods. Demons also exist in their
mythology.

There are many stories that indeed include
their gods and goddesses battling with demons. All of the gods act
like angels, as the typical mythology of angels interfering in the
human world. All gods have a special chore assigned to them, such
as a guardian. Village angels and village gods and goddesses are admired,
as they are the temple guardians. The tree spirits signify fertility
in Hindu myths and legends. |
