Helpful Angels

In Jewish and
Christian literature, Raphael's role is the chief guardian of angels.
He is an archangel and one of the throne angels. He has the ability
to heal and protect man kind. Michael is the Archangel in scripture.
In Christian belief, he is the Lord of Souls who judges the souls
of the dead and sends the just spirits to heaven. His symbol is a
sword. In Jewish literature, he is also one of the seven archangels
and one of the four throne angels. Muslims believe that he is the
patron of the Israelites. |

messenger angel described in the Bible. He is the angel of annunciation,
heavenly mercy, resurrection and revelation. He announced the "second
coming of Christ". He is one of the seven Archangels and one
of the four throne angels in Jewish literature. According to Moslem
legends, he is the treasurer of divine knowledge. He is responsible
for delivering the Black Stone of the Kaba to Abraham in Mecca, which
is kissed by pilgrims up to this day. In 1951, Pope Pius XII announced
Gabriel as the patron angel of telecommunications workers. |

In Moslem, Israfil's responsibility is to sound the trumpet at the
last day. Ridwan is the angel in charge of heaven, which is also
called the "Treasurer of the Garden" and "Door-keeper"
of the garden. Azra'il is the Angel of death.
