Angels in Muslim are called malak or mal'ak.
Muslims believe that they are substances made by light, provide
permanently with life, speech and reason. They are free from desire
and anger. Furthermore, they never disobey God.

| Muslims believe
that God created the Archangels and Angels from His body. Israfil,
the highest angel, is made from his heart; Gabriel, treasurer of Divine
knowledge is made from his intelligence; Azrael, the angel of death,
comes from his judgement; Michael, the patron Israel, comes from His
spiritual desire and ambition. Angels act like a messenger from human
to God. Angels ask God for forgiveness for the dwellers on earth.
Guardian angels look after each person until their deaths. Muslims
believe that angels are responsible for guarding heaven. |
