Dyslexia is obtained when you are a baby. Around three months, the baby can see pretty much what is in their field of vision due to the incapacity to use neck muscles. So if the child starts to see other things further than what they are supposed to see, they are using parts of their brain that they are not supposed to use and develop until the age of three. Therefore, it disrupts the development for later on and it may contribute to the development of dyslexia. The process of how this exactly happens is not quite known.

Another possible cause for dyslexia is brain abnormalities. If the pregnant mother is ill, has poor nutrition, uses drugs or even inhales or interacts with chemicals such as paint (which contains lead); any of those reasons may cause abnormalities and the brain and the nervous system can be damaged. The child may obtain a certain type of dyslexia or even a worse type of learning disabilities that may not only effect reading, writing, or speech, but also coordination and concentration.
