How To

A fire should be built so that it burns in stages. A heavy stick should be laid at an angle against something that won't burn. A little bit of tinder should be set underneath some kindling. Then the tinder should be ignited. Be careful not to suffocate the flames by adding too much fuel. When the kindling begins to burn the real fuel, the larger pieces of wood can be added. If you follow this procedure perfectly, you will only need one match.

HELPFUL HINT: the process will go much smoother if you have all the materials needed at hand before even beginning.
