Plants
Not to Eat in the Wilderness:
Although
we can't describe every inedible plant, here are some generalb guidlines
that might prove useful.
Sap
Sap that is white or milky should usually be avoided as well as
brightly colored sap.
Fruit
If the fruit of a plant is white then it is often poisonous. Red,
blue, or black fruits should also be eaten only if you are sure
they are edible.
Taste
Whenever you are unsure about any plant, chew a small amount first.
If it is very bitter, sour, acidic, or has a nauseating taste then
this plant should be avoided.
