Simple 3D Button
Creating a simple 3D button in Photoshop

This tutorial will teach how to make a very simple but stylish button fast by using Bevel and Emboss effects of the layers in Photoshop.

Create a new file of size 150 X 150 pixels. Then make a selection of size about 131 X 23 in the center of the image.
Create a new layer by pressing Ctrl+Shift+N and fill the selection with dark red color(I used R:176 G:45 B:45 Hex:#B02D2D).

Press ctrl+d to deselect the selction made in step1. Then go to Layer->Effects->Bevel and Emboss and set the values as the ones you see on the left.

After completing step 2 you should have gotten something like the image on the left side. Then by duplicating this layer and moving it with Move tool () you can create a very simple but stylish menu(see examples below)
