The Ramones

    Joey, Dee Dee, C.J., Tommy, Richie, and Marky Ramone were all, at some point in time, one of the first punk rock bands and they paved the way for the future of this genre of music. They are known as the "definers" of punk rock, and allowed other bands, such as The Sex Pistols and The Clash, to emerge.
