WOOD STORK
The florida woodstork mainly eats snakes and fish. Though to do this they first search the waters with their beak which they find their food by the "sense of touch". They are also experiance fliers, which helps them to hitch a ride on air currents. Another thing about the woodstork is when it is time to nest will stay in huge numbers sometimes numbering up to 10,000 pairs.
The two main causes of the endangerment of the wood stork are the early poachings of them for their feathers and loss of habitat. Even though people no longer poach them for the feathers, the past served for a long-term effect. And the population continues to rise so the habitat of the woodstork is diminished as the yars progress.
