Ahem... This is the homepage of Jessica the Peacock, our mascot and alleged name of our ThinkQuest group. Jenna and Julia are the proud owners of Jessica, though the name has been used for many people on other occasions, including a boy in their drama class who wishes not to be named. Jessica was born free and now presides in captivity, and very much enjoying it. She is not an endangered animal, but one of her missions in life is to take at least one species off the endangered list. She is a real hero, and so we commend her by making her our team mascot.

The fearless team leader. Creator of the skeletons of all the webpages, and fleshed them out with help from her team mates. Collected many sources and helped write the information for the Florida panther,the wood stork, the bald eagle, the leatherback turtle, and the scrub lizard. Enjoys anime, Italian food, acting, and rainy evenings. Is the proud joint-custody owner of Jessica the Peacock.

Helped write the information for the scrub jay, the wood stork, the scrub lizard and the leatherback turtle. Searched for information and found about half of the pictures on our site. Enjoys the beach, drawing, and getting caught in the rain. Hopes to someday become a highly-paid lawyer. 
Melissa
Created the lovely quiz on the endangered animals. Wrote the information for the manatee and the alligator. Found the other half of the pictures on our webpage. Enjoys drawing, speciafically dragons, writing fanfiction, and rain (this is getting repetative!) Reads Animophs and Harry Potter. Is saving up her money for the fifth book, due this coming June.
