Lesson 2: ADVERBS

An adverb describes or modifies a verb, adjective, or another adverb.  Unlike other parts of speech such as adjectives and articles, adverbs in German have no case endings!  Learning adverbs is therefore a matter of vocabulary and memorization of idiomatic usages.  Hence, there are several different lists of common adverbs.
