Lesson 1: Regular Verbs
One of the fundamentals of a
sentence is the use of personal pronouns.
Not only do they serve as objects of a sentence, but also as aids
for the conjugation of verbs. Personal
pronouns, unless at the beginning of the sentence, are not capitalized.
The only personal pronoun capitalized in the nominative case is Sie
(formal ‘you’). The
following is a table of personal pronouns in the nominative case.

*Note:
Germans use Sie when referring to a stranger or someone outside of
family.
It is also used for such people who are about the same age as the
speaker or older, or in formal references in text.
