Solid Fuel Rockets

Here is an example of a solid fuel rocket

       As you can see, there is a star-shaped carving into the solid fuel mix.  This allows the maximum surface area to be burned at the same time, equaling maximum thrust!  Then, on the right you can see the spent rocket casing, where all that is left is the nosecone, tube, and nozzle.  Below is a picture of the rocket in its normal appearance.
