(1/2) Jack S. Kilby - Born on April 11, 1923 in Great Bend, Kansas. In 1950, he received his Masters in Electrical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin. Between 1958 and 1970 he was employed at Texas Instruments in Dallas, Texas. While he was There he developed the first integrated circuit. He won the Nobel Physics Prize for the invention of the integrated circuit.
