About us Page

We are three eighth grade students at Our Lady of Mount Carmel School in Meriden, Connecticut.  We got the idea for this web site from our friend’s father when he spoke at career day.  He told us about Mt. Kilimanjaro, and about his upcoming climb.  We thought it would be fun to make a web site of Mt. Kilimanjaro, and his adventures.  Thank you to Mr. King, his fellow travelers and photographers, who inspired us with such great material; our principal, Mrs. Norine McDermott, for her support; and Mr. David Pluth of Fotografx in Switzerland who graciously donated the AWESOME picture for our home page.  Thanks to Mrs. Wotton, and Mrs. Daniels, our coaches, for their technical genius!
