We are a team from Sherwood School, Highland Park, IL and are made up of fourth and fifth graders. We loved learning about health problems, and how to prevent them. Our coaches were Mrs. Duffy and Mr. Shaw.

Scott was born in Evanston, IL. He likes to do sports like football, baseball, soccer, basketball, and roller blading. Also, he likes to listen to music. ThinkQuest was really fun because he loves researching, and he had a great group of friends to work with on this project.

Joey was born in Evanston, IL. He likes playing soccer, baseball, basketball, and football. His favorite subjects are Math and History. He liked researching and typing up reports for ThinkQuest.

Peri was born in Chicago, IL. She likes playing football, basketball, and softball. She has an older sister who also has won a ThinkQuest award. This is Peri's second year in ThinkQuest and she's still loving it.

Adam was born in Los Angeles, CA. He likes playing soccer, tennis and playing on the computer. His favorite subject is math. This is his first year doing ThinkQuest and he enjoyed it.

Peter was born in Highland Park, IL. He likes playing soccer, basketball, and messing around on the computer. His favorite subjects are science and history. He has two older sisters including a former ThinkQuest winner. This is his second year doing ThinkQuest and he loved it.

We put a team effort into this site and worked on it for three months, before and after school, at lunchtime, and even on weekends! When one teammate was struggling, we would help them. We used Claris Home Page 3, Adobe Photoshop Elements and Appleworks 6. We used Internet Explorer 5.1 and Netscape 7 for research. We used Macintosh computers to create this site.

We would like to thank all the people we interviewed for this site: Officer Debbie Fishman, Dr. Donald Saltzman, Dr. Bennett Sherman, Carrie Shook, and the high school student who answered our questions about drug abuse.
