This web site is targeted at juniors and seniors in high school. Knowing calculus is a plus, but it is not necessary to understand the content of this site. Even, younger readers may find this explanation useful, though at least an eight grader's understanding of algebra is needed. The demographic of this web page need not limit a reader's interest. Many people may find calculating various properties of particles, fascinating. I know the creators of this page do.

Also, note that this page only encompasses beginner's mechanics. There are more complex versions of it and it is often worth picking up a few books at the library to expand your knowledge. There are also many other branches of physics. If you dont' enjoy mechanics, then you can try another topic, like astrophysics or optics.
