Most dwarves live a normal life with the exception of being a dwarf. This includes an average occupation. You might think that dwarves would have a hard time finding jobs because of their height, but actually most dwarves have a satisfying job. At some places where dwarves want to get jobs, there is discrimination so they can’t get a job.
Most dwarves have trouble doing things around their house. Some of these things include turning on light switches. The switches would have to be lower, or they would need a stool or something to help them reach the switch. Dwarves also might have trouble getting things from cabinets or shelves.

Here is a list of some of the occupations that dwarves have.

Teacher, farmer, secretary, factory worker, grocery store clerk, accountant, psychologist, comedian, actor, architect, These are just a few of the jobs that dwarves hold.

However, being a dwarf isn’t all that great. The discrimination that dwarves face each and every day is a huge burden to carry. Many people think that just because they are short that they can’t do anything and that they’re good for nothing. The real truth is that dwarves are people just like anyone else and that they do serve a purpose in life.

Remember: We are not trying to offend anyone but we have heard that the word "Midget" can be offensive and we thought that the "Dwarf" is more appropiate.
