Hitler: Esther

The following is a letter from Esther, who is at a conference in Hamburg, to the rest of the family concerning the new Chancellor of Germany, Adolf Hitler.

Dear Family,

I am once again writing to you from the inside of Hitler’s operational center. Life is getting much worse for those like us everywhere. **** are being ********** for ********** in their local **********. This newsletter I have attached was just issued to all employees. It will give you some background on the new leader of our country. I am fine, but I miss you all very much. I cannot write a great deal and some of what I send may be censored with asterisks for safety purposes. Once again I apologize for not being able to write as much as I would like to, but seeing that I’m so busy I don’t get much free time. I love you with all my heart and until we see each other again remember what I said as we parted ******** ****** *** ****

Love always,
Momma
