Remote Sensing General

    Remote Sensing has a lot to do with maps and satellites.  It uses satellites in space to provide us with pictures that we could not usually acquire.  You have no idea how much this helps cartographers.  Imagine making a map without a picture of what you are drawing....

Remote Sensing is studying or operating something from a distance. It uses satellites to take images of the earth. These images can be used for many purposes, such as spying and agriculture.

There are almost an endless number of careers that are somehow related to Remote Sensing somehow.
