Flash

Ever see a web cartoon?  Have you ever looked at a page with all kinds of elements moving around and making noise?  If you haven't, those are called "swf" files.  They are made by a program called Flash, which is marketed by Macromedia.  They have many applications and uses.  I'll be taking you through the most popular uses and getting you on your way to becoming a Flash guru.  We'll start with the basics of working in the Flash MX environment.  I will not be dealing with any other version, however.  If you do use Flash 3, 4, and 5, you will notice many of my terms will not relate to you.  Don't fear, though, Macromedia does offer a trial version.  If you do not plan to use my tutorials for more than 20 days, I suggest you try out the program.  This course is by no means an extremely advanced one, it takes practice to make your skills better.  With this, you will succeed to be a Flash wizard.  Below are the main topics of the Flash section.
