Flash uses vectors to store drawings. There are several tools that one can use. The pencil and paint brush tool are the most common. These either draw a line or a fill. The paint bucket and ink bottle tool surround an area in fill or line respectively. Simply select a tool and go to the stage to draw with it. To change the color, choose either the line color or fill color button.
