        Hermia (her-mee-uh)- loves Lysander, father makes her marry Demetrius, has black hair, runs away with Lysander 

        Lysander (li-sand-er)- loves Hermia, has black hair, runs away with Hermia

        Demetrius (de-me-tree-us)- loved Hermia's best friend Helena, but after Egeus chose Demetrius to marry Hermia, Demetrius loved Hermia

        Helena (hell-uh-nuh)- loves Demetrius, has blond hair

        Titania (ti-tan-e-uh)- the Fairy Queen, wife to Oberon    

        Oberon (o-ber-on)- the Fairy King, husband to Titania

        Puck (puk)- the Fairy that gathers the flowers with the magical juice

        Bottom (bawtum)- the leader of the group of Athenians that want to put on a play for the Duke's marriage  

        Egeus (e-gee-us)- Hermia's father, the ruler of Athens    

        Theseus (thee-cee-us)- is going to marry Hippolyta, the Duke

        Hippolyta (hip-o-lite-uh)- is going to marry the Duke, Theseus
