Shakespeare
William Shakespeare was born on April 23, 1564. He was the 3rd born child out of 8. Nobody really knows his childhood because nobody knew that he would be one of the greatest playwright and dramatist. He married Anne Hathaway in December of 1582. On May 26, 1583 Susanna, the daughter of William and Anne, was christened. On February 2nd, 1585 boy and girl twins were born. The boy was named Hamnet and the was named Judith. Shakespeare was part of a group of actors called the Lord Chamberlain's Company Men. The plays were popular. The first was probably "The Comedy of Errors" which was probably acted in 1591. In 1597 Shakespeare purchased a house called the "New Place". The summer before Shakespeare bought the "New Place", His only son, Hamnet, died. Shakespeare's daughter Susanna married Dr. John Hall. Shakespeare retired in 1613. Judith did not marry until she was 31 years old. She then married Thomas Quincy. William Shakespeare died on his birthday, April 23, 1616. He was buried as an honored citizen. His wife, Anne Shakespeare, died on August 6, 1623. That was few months before the works of Shakespeare was published in books. Shakespeare's work is in 80 different launguages.
