Coastal Indian tribes wore very little except in cold weather. Their clothing was designed more for keeping water out than for keeping in warmth. They made extensive use of cedar bark and used very few animal skins.

The Northwest Coast Indians wore more clothing than shown in those fake Indian movies. Native Americans wear many different kinds of clothing. It depends on where they live in the world. Each tribe wears clothing that fits with their environment.
