Who Said Famous Authors Don't Have Pets?

    As a young child, Joanne Kathleen had a few pets. When she was very little, she had a dog named Rabbit. It was named after a Disney character in the movie Bambi. Sadly, this beloved pet had to be put to sleep. After the death of her pet, Joanne got two Guinea Pigs. Unfortunately, a fox discovered them in the back yard and had them for an afternoon snack. After the second experience of death with in  her pets, she finally had a stroke of luck. She got another dog. It was named Misty. It lived a long, healthy life. In fact, it lived until Joanne went to a university in United Kingdom. Obviously, it eventually died as all living things do, but at least it had a long life. As a teenager, Joanne thought that fish where amazing. She especially liked large, colorful ones. She even had a few. Now that she is an adult, she still finds them extremely interesting.
