IDEAS FOR STORIES

It starts like a little seed. It doesn't come easily. I can be prodding around for a year before I find an idea. I write the idea down so I don't forget it. It can disappear like a dream if it's not written down. I don't start my books at once. I look, sniff, and see if it will go. It's a big decision because it can take years to write.
