Beauty and the Beast

Beauty and the Beast is about how a prince gets turned into a beast and has to become a prince again if a young lady falls in love with him. He’s turned into a beast because he would not help this fairy that is dressed as an old lady. When hes turned into a beast, he is sent to a castle where there is a rose and it tells how many days left he has to live. There he meets a young lady named Belle. Her father goes to the beast’s castle to find some help, but gets captured. Now it is up to Belle to help find her dad and get him back, before something happens to him.
Beauty and the Beast won many awards for the movie. In 1991, it won two awards, one was the LAFCA Award and the other one was the NBR Award. A year later, it also one two awards, the Oscar Award and the Golden Globe and was nominated for the Hugo Award.. In 1993, it also won some awards, the ASCAP Award, the Golden Screen Award, the Grammy Award, and the Special Award and was nominated for the BAFATA Film Award. The last award it won was the National Film Registry.
