Bambi

Bambi is a young deer hailed as the “Prince of the Forest” from when he was born. As Bambi grows up, he makes friends with the other animals of the forest, such as a little rabbit named Thumper and a skunk he calls Flower. He learns the different skills he needs to survive and even finds love with a mare named Faline. But, one day when he was young, a group of hunters killed his mother and he must stay with his father, the “King of the Forest.” Bambi now must learn how to be as big and as brave as his father is and help lead the other animals away from a dangerous fire.
Even though Bambi is considered one of Disney’s greatest movies ever produced. It never won any awards, but it was nominated for three Academy Awards in 1942. One for Best Music, one for Music Score of a Dramatic or Comedy Picture and one for Sound Recording.
