Alice in Wonderland

Alice is a dreamer. She is so imaginative that she wanders off into her own world. In this little world of hers, there are such things as a little white rabbit that carries pocket watches. She decides to follow White Rabbit farther into her world. Here, she can just eat something and she will become smaller and larger (which she does many times) in the blink of an eye. In this not-so-little Wonderland, Alice ends up getting lost, but is helped by the Chesire Cat who tells her the way to the Queen of Hearts. When she meets the Queen of Hearts, she finds out that she isn't too nice; she is very conceded and greedy. Alice ends up being taken to court for some unjust reasons and has to run to keep herself alive. At the end of the hallway, she sees herself through a doorknob. Then wakes up and realizes it was all a dream. Alice meets many characters in her Wonderland, such as the Caterpillar, the Chesire Cat, Mad Hatter, March Hare, Dormouse, and of course the Queen of Hearts, plus many many more.
As great as this movie really is, it only got one Academy Award Nomination in 1951 for Best Music, Scoring of a Musical Picture.
