They started to build the Titanic on March 31st, 1909. It took 11,300 men to build the Titanic. It was designed by Lord William Pirrie. The Titanic was launched April 10th, 1912 from Southhampton, England.
The ship's colors were black, gray, gold, and white. They called it the unsinkable ship because it had a double-bottomed hull and sixteen watertight compartments.
