On this page you will learn a lot about the ROTC Air force. The program begins with the general military course, the GMC combined with the cadet led leadership laboratory. Air Force ROTC’s goals is to recruit, educate, train, and commission officer cadets. Cadets attend a four to five week training program between their sophomore and junior year. This program will teach the cadets physical conditioning, weapon training, and survival training. But the field training is your chance to develop your skills as a leader and as a team member.

The professional officer course offers advanced training in leadership, management, communication skills, and focuses on Air Force situations. The course covers theories of management, the role of armed forces in society, and environmental context in witch American National Security Policy is developed and carried out. As a POC cadet, you will participate in the planning, organization, and direction of the cadet crops. The POC cadets are organization to operate like a real life Air Force wing. The POC is your opportunity to practice being a leader and a member of the professional organization that is the United States Air Force. The final step in your preparation to join the world’s best Air Force, the United States Air Force. The POC and GMC is your chance to learn, to try out the program and have a real great time!
