Hunting   

 

 

    The bows and arrows killed animals like black bears, elk, deer, rabbit and wolves. The nets trapped wild turkeys, geese, ducks, herons, pigeons and partridges. Female animals were not hunted when they are having a baby. To make a snare a young tree was bent down and attached to the ground with a loop to make a snare. The animal is caught by its hind leg.

     They would herd the fish into a trap. Another way to catch fish is to trap them in nets. They even go out at night to catch fish with torches to attract the fish to the trap.
