The house is reported to be haunted by the
Mayo family. In a fit of rage, Mr. Mayo killed
his family and then hanged himself. It is said that if one approaches the house at night, he will be chased by dogs. The family will then come outside, get the dog, and invite the person inside. It is said that upon entering the house one will see a rope dangling the stair well. Suddenly, the rope and the family will vanish. |
