Hart's War
Tommy Hart (Colin Farrell) is studying to be a lawyer before he ends up enlisting in World War II. During a combat mission over Europe he is shot down, and placed in a POW camp. When Lt. Lincoln, a black prisoner, is accused of murder, Hart comes to his aid and becomes his defense council in the courtroom. The trial transfixes the Germans and gives the American POWs a good diversion to help them escape.

Recommendations
Although I have not yet seen the movie, I do highly recommend the book. A courtroom thriller that combines the drama of a POW Camp and the war raging on outside. The book was excellent, the plot was very twisted, so that you never knew what evidence would show up next. The book kept you on the edge of your seat until the very end when it finally all connected and came apart. With the daring courtroom drama, and the thrills of a murder case, along with World War II raging on outside the walls of the POW Camp, this book combines the right amount of scenarios and events to make up a superb courtroom drama/war thriller.
