Lord of the Rings

The Lord of the Rings is an epic film continued in this amazing videogame.

A combination of the first two movies, Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers video game recreates the scenery from the movie in a superb fashion. The cut-scenes have an amazing tendency to switch between the computer-generated characters and the actual movie characters. The voices of the game characters aren't different from the movie. The voices of the game are the authentic actors. Viggo Mortenson, Orlando Bloom, John Rhys-Davies and many others voice their characters.

When you start the game, you play a prologue. Isildur, the first character, is who you start with. Once this is beaten, you will continue through the game as the members of the Fellowship. You will be able to choose between Aragorn (Viggo Mortenson), Gimli (John Rhys-Davies), and Legolas (Orlando Bloom). Each character has their own set of close combat and long range weapons. Aragorn has a sword and a bow, Legolas has daggers and a bow, and Gimli has an axe. With each unique weapon set, the characters also have a fighting style. For example, Gimli is slow and powerful while Legolas is swift and a little weaker.

The level environments recreate the various scenes from the movie. There are levels not only from The Two Towers, but from the Fellowship of the Ring also. The game creators used the miniature replicas to make the game environment.

Overall, Lord of the Rings is a very well developed and deserves a 9 out of 10.
