Stormalong
A tidal wave crashed down on the shores of cape cod in the early 1800's. When the wave went back out to sea they heard a loud bellowing sound, like a foghorn. When they went to see what it was they were shocked, because a baby three fathoms tall-or 18 feet-was crawling around on the shore. His voice was as loud as a foghorn. They took him to the meeting house and decided to name him Alfred Bulltop Stormalong, Stormy for short. Stormy had to leave Cape Cod, because it was to small for him so he moved to Boston. When he went to join a crew they thought he was a man, because he was 36 feet tall, but he was only twelve. One night they went to haul up the anchor an eight legged octopus wouldn't let go of it, so Stormy went and tied it's legs together. After a while he thought that the sea had betrayed him. So he said he was going to walk with an oar on his shoulder until someone asked him "Hey mister what's that on your shoulder." He walked all the way to Kansas before someone asked him " Hey mister what's that on your shoulder." So he stayed in that exact spot, and farmed. He was a good farmer, but everything was to small. So he went back to Boston, and his old friends built him a bigger ship.
