Medicine Creek Golf Course

         Medicine Creek Golf Course was built  in 1988, and has nine-holes. It is located three miles east of Presho on SD Highway 16. The layout of the golf course was designed around Medicine Creek, which runs through Lyman County. A dam had to be built near the 9th hole to insert a sprinkler system. 

    The organization attracts a few tourists and has about 85 local members. The Medicine Creek Golf Course is a wonderful place and is visited by lots of people.

Chamberlain Golf Course

            Chamberlain Golf Course was constructed in the early 1950's on American Island, which was located in the middle of the Missouri River. In the 1960's, when the Missouri River dams were being built, the course was moved to its current location outside the town of Oacoma, in Lyman County. The golf course is now about 4 miles west of Chamberlain. The new course was larger than the original one. 

    Being located by interstate 90, the golf course gets many tourists. The Chamberlain Golf Course has a beautiful view and is visited many times a year.
